TheMDFL is seeking to hire an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) to serve in the Criminal Division. The applicant selected will represent the U.S. Government as an AUSA on a wide range of unique and complex cases.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
Applicants must possess a J.D. Degree, be an active member of the bar (any U.S. jurisdiction), and have at least 1* year post-J.D. legal or other relevant experience.
United States citizenship is required.
Applicants should have excellent academic credentials and some litigation experience, preferably at least 3 years. Applicants also should be computer literate, possess superior oral and written communication skills, have strong character and excellent interpersonal skills, have the capacity to function with minimal guidance in a highly demanding environment, and have a strong commitment to public service.
