You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (POLICYPLN) in the Warfare Requirements & Assessments, Resources &Requirements, Office of Commander of US FLEET CYBER COMMAND.

- You will analyze information from a variety of sources (internal and external to the IW Domain) to assess significant new and expanding requirements and provide recommendations to support and draft operational policies relating to IW programs.
- You will analyze and support new operational requirements related to communications systems, shore/afloat Networks, Cyber, Space and Information Operations (IO) to ensure FCC/C10F Commanders operational requirements are fully programmed/supported.
- You will participate in high level meetings to assist the director with informing FCC/C10F leadership on new requirements and growth of network and space capabilities.
- You will coordinate with staff personnel on the development, submission, justification, and update of capability requirements for inclusion in PPBE, Future Years Defense Program (FYDP) and associated submissions within directed timelines.
- You will participate in the development and assessment of current and future warfighting capabilities for supporting the PPBE cycle.
- You will plan and conduct analyses of operational programs including ashore, and afloat Networks, Cyber, Space, and Communications systems capabilities to ensure all requirements support DoD, Navy, USCC, NSA/CSS, USSPACECOM, and FCC/C10F guidance.
Occasional travel – You may be expected to travel for this position.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Coordinate with internal and external staff personnel in the development, submission, justification, control, and update of capability requirements for inclusion in Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution, Future Years Defense Program (FYDP) and associated submissions in a timely manner.
3. Oral Communication – Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Prepare and present flag-level reports, papers, and briefings pertaining to future and current issues, policies, and warfighting capability.
4. Problem Solving – Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Advise on technical and operational matters that aid in prioritizing programs and make recommendations on appropriate requirements in support of the Commander's guidance.
Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by:
- Applying various principles, theories, techniques, and methodology related to Cyber, Cryptologic, signals intelligence (SIGINT), electronic warfare (EW), Information operations (IO), and Space program management.
- Utilizing applications such as of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) and POM cycle application.
- Using processes Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) and CCIDS processes for acquisitions and
- Analyzing, evaluating, generating and utilizing key information and operational requirements related to FCC/C10F lines of operation (LOO).
- Consolidating, coordinating, and prioritizing of requirements for shore and afloat Networks, Cryptology/Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Information Operations (IO), Cyber, Electronic Warfare (EW), and Space programs in accordance with associated policies and guidance supporting the Navy's PPBE process and POM cycle requirements.
- Utilizing ashore and afloat Networks and Communications Systems principles and possess an understanding of integration and functionality of these systems.
