IN-HOUSE/DEPUTY GC LABOR & EMPLOYMENT: National health care leader seeks 10+ year attorney with large law firm and/or in-house experience to be lead attorney for labor and employment matters in the Northeast and Central U.S. Based in Boston and reporting to the General Counsel, this attorney will be responsible for day to day employment (counseling and litigation) and labor relations matters. This lawyer will play a crucial role managing labor relations, serving as the lead negotiator in union negotiations, representing the Company in any employment litigation claims (state and federal), defending any unfair labor practice charges and conducting investigations, counseling leadership and HR on employment compliance and employee-relations matters, and developing and implementing employment and labor policies and procedures. Qualified candidates must have significant, hands-on experience in collective bargaining, grievance and arbitration matters as well as employment law counseling and litigation expertise.
