The Associate General Counsel – Transactions provides in-house legal counsel to the WakeMed Legal Affairs department and reports to the Vice President and Chief Legal Officer (CLO). The services provided will cover a comprehensive array of legal issues facing the health system and health care providers, with a focus on healthcare transactions such as purchased products and services, real estate, managed care, joint venture and academic affiliation agreements.

Experience Requirements:
7 Years Legal – Health System, Hospital, Multi-Specialty Physician Practice Required – Or Related Position Experience And Healthcare Law And Legal Advising And Legal Agreement Negotiating and Drafting Required

Education Required:
Doctorate Law Required

Generally 40 hours per week
