Position Summary:  Responsible for providing legal support and assistance to (i) the Office of Audit, Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management (OACE) and other relevant Groups, Divisions and Functions throughout the world in developing, implementing and managing Parkers global compliance programs; and (ii) Parkers global data privacy team with responsibility for developing, implementing and managing Parkers compliance with data protection and privacy laws throughout the world, including the European Unions General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Californias Consumer Protection Act (CCPA) and others. Scope, Supervision & Interaction:  Reports directly to the VP Law, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary.  Does not currently have direct reports. Essential Functions:  Monitor, interpret, communicate and address changes and trends in laws, directives, rules, regulations and best practices with respect to global compliance and data privacy.  Develop and implement, either directly or in support of OACE, compliance-related policies and procedures for assessing and addressing current and emerging risk areas.  Assist OACE with the disposition of compliance issues, including those relating to conflicts of interest, gifts, and third-party business relationships.  Advise OACE in maintaining and maturing comprehensive global compliance-related risk assessments and Parkers Integrated Risk Management Program.  Assist OACE in developing and maintaining a world-class compliance program (e.g., through program benchmarking, participating in OACE meetings, monitoring Internal Audit and Compliance reports, etc.).  Collaborate with other in-house counsel, OACE and other key internal stakeholders to develop, coordinate and conduct training for internal team members on compliance, enterprise risk and data privacy matters.  Lead and manage, or coordinate with regionally located in-house counsel for their lead and management of, the legal aspects of compliance investigations and responses to regulatory and governmental inquiries.  Assist in developing strategies for addressing and responding to Parker Integrity Line calls, investigations, compliance-related complaints and data subject inquiries.  Maintain appropriate documentation and records for compliance-related matters.  Advise other in-house counsel on appropriate compliance-related contract provisions.  Participate in compliance-related aspects of acquisition due diligence and integration.  Coordinate, manage and provide direction to external counsel and other suppliers on legal matters impacting compliance and data privacy at Parker.  Develop and negotiate contract terms for use with third parties with whom Parker shares or receives personal data.  Lead and actively participate in Legal Department strategy deployment and continuous improvement initiatives.  Positively represent and impact Parker and Legal Department culture and values.  Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications:  Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.  Active license to practice law in one or more appropriate jurisdictions.  Five or more years of relevant, progressive experience as a practicing lawyer dealing with substantive global compliance and data protection/privacy programs.  Ability to perform each essential function with skill, efficiency and practicality.  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively facilitate, influence and negotiate across regions, personalities, styles and cultures.  Ability to operate and address a variety of legal and business issues independently with minimal supervision.  Creative self-starter with ability to develop and implement innovative, flexible, balanced and practical legal and business solutions.  Collaborative with others, able to work as part of a team to accomplish goals.
