This opportunity is accountable for representing the company by providing legal guidance across the organization, apply strong technical expertise to continuously improve Legal principles based on best practice and industry standards, provide in-depth analysis, recommend appropriate solutions to management, and develop strategic practices to ensure that the Companys concerns, issues, risks, and liabilities are identified and resolved effectively.
Resolve regulatory inquiries by conducting research and drafting legal documents to provide recommendations and support lines of business
Lead implementation of legal strategies that identify, avoid, manage and mitigate legal, regulatory and reputational risk faced by the organization, consistent with business objectives and QBE behaviors
Advise on moderate impact legal matters by utilizing legal expertise and strategic thinking to assess risk and recommend effective and appropriate solutions
Collaborate with internal partners and lead multi-disciplinary teams to guide development of company policies and best practices
Manage moderate impact legal projects by defining scope, setting milestones, delegating tasks, tracking progress and reporting project results to ensure successful and efficient implementation
Represent company in litigation process by negotiating with external parties, organizing responses to legal communications and minimizing damage to protect organizational interests and ensure realization of business objectives
Lead employees to meet the organization’s expectations for productivity, quality, continuous improvement, and goal accomplishment
7 years relevant experience
Admitted to the Bar
Effectively present thoughts to key stakeholders to influence adoption of innovative recommendations
Negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and external groups to settle differences with minimum noise
Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and implement solutions
Anticipate legal obstacles and challenges and strategize plans to address
