They are a leader in the assessment industry, provides various solutions through its multiple business channels including talent assessments (of job-seeking candidates as well as employee development programs), licensure testing services (for government regulatory agencies), certification credentialing services (for professional associations), license management services, biometric identification authentication services, and higher education. This company offers clients various solutions to measure, assess and identify the skills, abilities, traits and identities of individuals seeking jobs, licensure, or certification credentials.

What you will be doing:
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining tools, frameworks and internal applications that support our continuous integration processes. The DevOps Engineer will be a subject matter expert on DevOps best practices around security, stability, scale, and similar.
Develop the libraries, frameworks, and front-ends to support our highly-automated CI environments
Implement best practices for ensuring continued availability and security of on-premise and cloud infrastructure while providing a clear audit trail
Continually expand product insight with proactive monitoring and alerting
Facilitate development teams diagnosing and troubleshooting problems in test and production environments

Experience you will need:
3+ years of DevOps engineering or software engineering
Fluent with DevOps tools and practices which drive the Infrastructure as Code mindset
Consensus building through teamwork and collaboration; we need people who aren’t afraid to share their ideas and who want ideas and feedback from their team in return
Inquisitive and constantly think about how we can improve our processes and produce excellent, high quality solutions for our customers
Meticulous in their interactions with mission critical, production systems
Must be a with the ability to pass a government background check
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience that is preferred:
Azure certification is a plus
Familiar with Windows administration
Experience with web servers (IIS) configuration and management
Experience with an OOP language such as C#
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as:
Source control (GitHub) and feature branching strategies
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Infrastructure as code frameworks (Terraform, ARM templates, etc.)
Configuration Management (Puppet)
Scripting and programming languages (Powershell, Python, etc.)
Application Performance Monitoring (AppDynamics, Dynatrace, etc.)
Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

Experience with SQL Server administration
