<p>GS-13. You qualify for the GS-13 level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.</p>
<p>Examples of specialized experience related to this position include: applying advanced network principles, concepts, methods, standards, managing, overseeing and providing service of the perimeter connection and security IT communications.<br /> <br /> In addition to the qualification requirements above, applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four BASIC COMPETENCIES listed below.<br /> <br /> 1. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
