Jacobs Federal Operations provides a wide range of services to government and industry in engineering, environmental, operations and maintenance, scientific, engineering, environmental and technical services.  Our clients include USAF, USACE, DOE, USCG, NASA, Dow, TVA, and Denso. We are currently executing many contracts, performing work that is essential to our clients’ missions across a broad range of functional areas.

 

  This position provides support in day-to-day functions that relate to quality and procurement departments. The incumbent performs a variety of detailed document controls tasks and ongoing assignments. He/she uses knowledge of defined document controls procedures to evaluate situations and select correct solution and adapts document controls processes and procedures as necessary to meet objectives. The incumbent exchanges information related to advanced document controls procedures. This position interacts primarily across departments and with some external contacts.  Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of procurement and quality. Uses electronic systems to store and track communications and log documents. Ability to take Meeting minutes, document and distribute May assemble and bind final copy involving spiral bind or related equipment. Scan/convert/upload documents Audit data and documents  Prepare and submit hard copy records  Review documents for accuracy and completeness  Ensure documents meet standards for production  Working Conditions & Physical Requirements: Regular standing, sitting, bending, and handling of hard copy files and documents. Regular computer work. Ability to move records boxes/records weighing up to 30 pounds, and stacks of paper weighing up to 20 pounds is essential Gathers, compiles, tracks and reports on information relevant to project assignment from multiple sources Sets up and maintains files, refers callers, arranges meetings and conferences, receives, refers and answers mail Reviews drafts and finished documents for grammar usage Uses personal computer to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite Compiles, reviews, and analyzes data May design processes to enhance work flow Quality/Procurement administrative support, Prolog Input, provide details minutes, procurement log and duties as required.

  • High School diploma or equivalent required 
  • USA Citizenship 
  • 5 or more years of experience 
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills 
  • Above average keyboarding skills 
  • Prior Quality/Procurement administrative support 
  • Experience providing details meeting minutes,  . 

 Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proven attention to detail 
  • Prior Supply Chain or Quality support experience 
  • Person already residing a commutable distance from Idaho Falls, ID is highly desired
