Joined Alloys specializes in complex machining, sheet metal fabrication, vacuum, torch and induction brazing, vacuum heat treating, welding, non-destructive testing, and wet painting, powder coating, and silk screening.
Job Summary: The position is responsible for assisting in the daily activities of the Aerospace Customer Service function, including quoting, order entry, expediting, customer service, filing, and scanning customer orders. In addition to helping process customer orders, this position will be involved in numerous projects for a number of different departments.
80% Administration
Answer phones, direct calls to the appropriate individuals
Download customer Purchase Orders (PO) from customer portals
Accurately review POs, enter orders in ERP system
1. If PO does not meet company requirements, take appropriate action to resolve discrepancies.
2. PO acknowledgement in customer on-line portals
Use of standard office equipment; copier, scanner, printer, etc.
Communicate production recommits to customers via phone, email and on-line portals
Timely response to customer requests
20% Provide support to other departments as requested by manager
Preferred experience and skills:
Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills are required
Customer service experience, preferably with a manufacturing company in the Aerospace industry
Knowledge of customer portals
Clerical or Administrative experience required
Strong typing skills
Professional communication skills; Ability to express yourself clearly in person, over the phone and in writing
Detail oriented, organized individual, accuracy is very important
