Specialized Experience:<br />
GS-12: One (1) year of specialized experience which is equivalent to at least the GS-11 in the Federal service to include developing risk communications related to public health and/or safety initiatives intended for use by the public; developing internal and external communications programs and materials; and evaluating communications needs.<br />

GS-13: One (1) year of specialized experience which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service to include planning and managing risk communication strategies for public health and/or safety initiatives to ensure accuracy of communications; developing internal and external communications programs and materials; and planning and executing projects involving strategic communications components.<br />
