Overview

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an End User Support in Saint Petersburg, Florida (FL).

Responsibilities:
* Contact users via phone/remote control and assist with onboarding new users (installing and configuring software on their PC, verifying entitlements are setup correctly
* Escalating to third level group when they are not)
* Installing and configuring new PCs (copying data from old PC
* Installing software on new PC, configuring software on new PC
* Installing other hardware (scanners, printers, monitors etc.)
* Installing various pieces of software and configuring mobile devices such as Apple iPhones, iPads & Android phones with MobileIron
* 90% remote phone support, 10% desk side support
* Monitoring the call tracking system for new requests and tasks while providing detailed documentation of activity in same

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of a High School diploma or GED / equivalent and three (3) years of relevant experience in a technical helpdesk or other technical support environment required or combination or education, training and experience; B.S. in Computer Science, MIS or related degree preferred
* 3+ years’ experience providing second level desktop support of hardware and software applications
* 3+ years’ experience supporting virtual private network (VPN) usage and other security tools like anti-virus and hard drive encryption
* Experience supporting Windows 7 & Windows 10 as well as Microsoft Office 2016/2019
* Strong customer service and phone skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical information to a non-technical audience

Nice to have but not required:
* Financial Services industry experience
