|Job Summary/Basic Function||
A commercial attorney with primarily a transactional and business background to work in support and at the direction of the Deputy General Counsel, and alongside the Universitys other attorneys on project assignments that reflect the wide-ranging legal needs of the University. A corporate generalist who can work independently, and who exercises good judgment and discretion. Project assignments are expected to be primarily transactional and business-related in nature, but from time to time a minority portion of the attorneys work may involve in-house support for the Universitys outside litigation counsel as they interface with the institution.
Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school.
Prior experience as an in-house attorney.
