We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. The Customer Service position is responsible for providing various administrative services in order to support Dispatch Operations and ensure effective and efficient communication with our Customers.
Various office and administrative duties, which include data entry, maintaining internal/external databases and miscellaneous reports.
Entering new loads into McLeod system accurately and on a timely basis. Ensure existing loads are up to date with the most current information.
Effective Communication with Operations Team to schedule/reschedule pickup and delivery appointments.
Keeping customers updated regarding estimated delivery or pick-up time (ETA) or notification of late delivery.
Respond to questions and requests as quickly as possible, making every effort to meet customer expectations.
Maintain load tenders, rate confirmations, customer emails and provide them to appropriate departments.
Maintain customer records, including claims and returns, by updating account information.
Update customer location and contact information in McLeod system as quickly as changes are learned.
Coordinate special customer requests with the Operations Team expediting orders as necessary.
Supporting Driver Managers by assisting with various dispatch tasks.
Minimum of 1 year prior Customer Service experience in the Transportation industry, driver dispatch experience a plus.

Ability to establish effective working relationships with drivers, co-workers, and customers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, convey information professionally and concisely.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment with multiple tasks and changing conditions
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Reliable and willing to learn
