Overview

Maintain consistent monitoring of guest experience and addressing of any concerns or issues. Provide ongoing feedback to retail sales associates with respect to level of service to our guests.
Oversee sales activity and authorize Guest returns or exchanges. Authorize discretion discounts. Assures the completion of all POS transactions and proper control of all cash and media at the POS register according to Company policies and procedures. Ensures that all inventory activity is properly recorded through the POS/Inventory Control System.
Manage overall store operations including pricing, labeling, and inventory control.
Develop effective in store displays to maximize product marketability and appeal.
Provide customer service, monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods, direct and supervise retail employees, manage inventory and reorder when necessary, hire, train, and evaluate retail employees where appropriate.
Provides leadership in the area of training.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support loss prevention efforts.
Order and re-order merchandise, DVDs and related products, create purchase orders, as needed to ensure adequate supply of items.
Record all delivery of merchandise. Compare purchase orders with merchandise received and report discrepancies to vendors to control costs and maintain correct inventory levels.
Plan department layout of merchandise or advertising display.
Responsible for quality control of the DVDs, customer service and managing customer complaints regarding DVDs. Communicate any deficiencies with DVD equipment to Avionics to troubleshoot problem.
Manage transfer of retail items, including packing and shipping of items. Facilitate shipments with cargo run whenever possible.
Conduct physical inventory.
Ground crew duties which include loading and off-loading aircraft, handling in flight issues.
Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years sales experience.
1-2 years of customer service experience.
1-2 years of cash handling experience.
At least 6 months to 1 year of previous retail experience.

Skills
Ability to maintain a high-level of alertness as job may require working around an aircraft.
Ability to work in a fast paced work environment and be able to balance multiple tasks successfully.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Ability to effectively present information to guests or fellow employees in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and apply common sense and logic to various situations.

Computer Skills
Must be able to perform data entry functions into a computer system.
POS/Inventory Control System experience preferred.
Strong software skills to include MS Office and MS Based software.

Physical Demands
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Should be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
