Overview

We are a well-established, independent insurance agency looking for a full-time, licensed, and experienced customer service representative for Personal Lines. Qualified candidates must possess strong communication skills, be detail oriented, motivated, and computer savvy. Salary and benefits including medical, dental, and vision offered as well as 401(k) retirement plan after one year with agency.
Role and Responsibilities
Respond to clients’ insurance-related questions and service requests
Analyze and complete account reviews
Partner with an assigned producer(s) to find and recommend insurance solutions to clients
Partner with management on the creation of workflow/procedures
Maintain client accounts/files
Other duties as requested by management
Skills
Minimum four (4) years prior experience in a sales or customer service role with an independent insurance agency
Must have Indiana P&C license
Must have an understanding of Personal Lines underwriting principles and the ability to apply as needed
Ability to read and interpret insurance documents/jargon and effectively communicate to clients
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with various carrier partners to meet client needs
Ability to navigate various carrier and consumer sites to find client solutions
Working knowledge of Applied TAM 2017 a plus
