Job Description Summary
The Board’s Office of General Counsel, located in Washington, D.C., is interested in hiring a legal intern for the summer of 2019. The Office of General Counsel provides legal advice and counsel to the Board concerning the Board’s exercise of its authority
over registration, inspections, enforcement and investigation, and standard-setting, as well as organizational and procedural matters.
The intern would work with one or more of the Office’s 16 lawyers and paralegals on a variety of appropriate projects. These could include assisting attorneys with research and assisting in preparing and maintaining records of Board action. An attempt
will be made to expose the intern to as many kinds of legal issues as possible, even ones on which he or she is not working directly.
