This role will act as a layer between marketing and sales. The Appointment Setter handles lead generation and all first contacts with new prospects and builds relationships through call activity and email campaigns. The goal of an outbound Appointment Setter is to take a lead from a marketing list or campaign, qualify the lead through discovery, set an online appointment for the Shipping Consultant, and follow through until a pitch is delivered to the prospective customer.

This is a fantastic position for self-starters with keen work ethic who are motivated, diligent, and positive about talking to people on the telephone. Good communication skills are a must. Position could be a good fit for candidates in or just out of college, changing careers, or excited about getting into sales. Backgrounds in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration and Communications a plus. This is a 40 hour per week position with the potential for a sales career; if the candidate shows promise and exceeds in the Appointment Setting role, they may be asked to transition to an Sales Representative role.
At least one year of sales experience
Experience making high volume outbound sales calls everyday
Excellent verbal communication skills
Positive and determined desire to exceed sales goals
Must be self motivated and organized
Compensation and Benefits:
$10 per hour plus Bonus (First year potential at plan is $25,000 to 30,000)
Up to 40 hours a week
