About the Job: This position provides legal advice on various matters involving the Corix regulated utility group’s water, wastewater, and other operations.
Reviews, drafts and negotiates various agreements and documents.
Supports the business units in understanding and reacting to legal issues, risks and opportunities.
Provides general legal counsel and advice to internal stakeholders on all aspects of the organization’s business activities.
Assists in developing, managing, communicating, and monitoring policies and procedures relating to privacy, data security, record retention, and other legal and regulatory issues.
Reviews, drafts and negotiates various agreements and documents, including service, supply, consulting, and purchase agreements and project tender documents
Supports the business units in understanding and reacting to legal issues, risks and opportunities
Provides general legal counsel and advice to internal stakeholders on all aspects of the organization’s business activities
Assists to develop, manage, communicate, and monitor policies and procedures relating to privacy, data security, record retention, and other legal and regulatory issues
Works as part of a team on the negotiations of transactions
Works with and assists in managing outside counsel
Performs other related duties as required
Education / Experience:
7 years relevant legal experience
