Job title: Customer Service Representative
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 Months
Pay rate: $15.75/hr.
Provides quality customer service and support to customers on a daily basis, including phone interaction, problem resolution and account transaction processing in a timely manner.
Under direct supervision, performs less complex operational tasks in a product or functional area, including processing, balancing, settling and servicing all types of security transactions.
Executes all correspondent requisites in a timely and accurate manner with an understanding of the underlying business and specific customer needs.
Maintains correspondent accounts in accordance with applicable regulations and policies, ensuring regulatory compliance and minimizing exposure related to assigned processing tasks.
Enters information a computerized database.
High school diploma or equivalency is required.
Bachelor degree is preferred; up to 2 years of experience and training in primary process/product, a plus.
Good customer service, interpersonal and telephone skills.
Ability to effectively prioritize within a high-pressure, high volume environment with tight deadlines.
Basic PC skills and data entry experience.
