A leading logistics company with headquarters in Western Nassau County, is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for high levels of inbound/outbound calls, data entry, and administrative duties.
Responsible for high levels of inbound and outbound client calls
Track and update shipment status
Communicate service issues with customers while keeping management informed
Maintain internal customer profiles and relevant customer information
Work with vendors, agents and carriers to provide services required/requested
Answer customers questions via phone and email
Enter data into the computer utilizing Microsoft Office
Must possess an Associates Degree OR have prior Logistics experience
Must have excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
A self-motivated, fast learner with a can do attitude is a must
Experience working in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook is require
