Job Summary
The Miner Corporation is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team and meet the demands of our growing business.
The office location is in Providence, Rhode Island.
This is a full-time, hourly paid position.
The CSR provides assistance to the Service Professionals and other office personnel. They also order parts, track projects in the field, assist in selling of preventative maintenance plans to customers and follow-up on marketing leads. This position will work with our sales and service teams to follow-up on equipment sales and ensure that training is scheduled.
Essential Functions
Payroll – Log and track the Service Professionals’ time and bonuses, office time and bonuses, marketing time, bonus and mileage
Track the Pay on Performance Board updates/monthly bonus sheets
Billing – Customer Invoices and Warranty Information
Invoicing – Envelopes and Enclosures
Filing
Month end reports
Mail distribution and returned mail
Incoming Service Orders and quotes
Purchase Order Receiving – ID job material, tag it and stage it
Purchasing – New Vendor set up, material receiving, communicating to the field, pricing and ETA
Requests for I-9, tax information, insurance information
Office Supplies – Order supplies and marketing materials

Qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service environment
Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
Solid understanding of customer specifics and rates.
Exceptional people and communication skills.
Exceptional communication skills, oral, written and listening.
Represents a high energy level and is a demonstrated self-starter.
Able to adapt to a high growth, high change environment.
Disciplined, strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Team player – works well with others
Positive attitude
Strong work ethic and very detail-oriented
High School diploma or GED required.
Physical Demands
Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 80% of the time (sitting).
Able to move about an office environment to access equipment and files.
Constantly operates machinery such as: Computer, Computer Keyboard, Calculator, Company Telephone System, Cell phone and other like devices.
Will have repetitive movement of both hands.
Vision requires eyesight sufficiently strong enough to permit extended close work and normal color perception.
Hearing and speaking in order to exchange information.
Frequently communicates by phone, email, text or in person. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
May access and/or move office equipment and paper files up to 25 pounds (i.e. faxing, printing, making copies, etc.).
