<b>Job Number: R0057705</b><br /><br />Process Improvement Consultant<br />Key Role:<br /><br />Work with organizations to redesign business processes and provide clients with management consulting on organization redesign and new business processes. Maintain responsibility for managing multiple projects typically larger in size and provide clients with consulting on other effects of new business processes. Assist a business development team with writing and presenting proposals for moderately large or complex projects, perform as an advanced consultant with capability knowledge who excels at client delivery, and develop expertise in a specific area. Take a leadership role in generating intellectual capital to help the firm grow its business. Use developed relationships with clients, impart highly valued knowledge and trusted advice, and interact directly with senior-level clients. Develop competency in project and financial management and become more involved in managing teams and formulating business strategies. Guide the progress of projects while mentoring junior staff in both firm and technical competencies.<br /><br />Basic Qualifications:<br /><br />-5+ years of experience with military strategic communications or performance optimization<br /><br />-Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the US and work up to 100% of the time alongside clients at locations in the National Capital Region<br /><br />-Secret clearance required<br /><br />-BA or BS degree required<br /><br />Additional Qualifications:<br /><br />-4+ years of experience with business process reengineering, IT acquisition, Clinger-Cohen Act compliance, organizational change management, strategic communications, Lean Six Sigma, strategic planning, organizational design, integrated master scheduling, performance management, or overhead optimization<br /><br />-Experience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Excel<br /><br />-Possession of excellent data gathering and analysis skills<br /><br />-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills<br /><br />-BA or BS degree in Business, Management, Economics, Government, Political Science, or Industrial Engineering<br /><br />-Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) or PMP Certification<br /><br />Clearance:<br /><br />Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.<br /><br />We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change.
