<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the OFFICE OF THE CHIEF MANAGEMENT OFFICER of DON OCMO.<br /> Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><ul> <li>You will serve as an analyst and action officer, providing support to/advising the Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) lead, monitoring DON policies and plans, and making informed recommendations on initiatives and compliance.</li> <li>You will serve as a subject matter expert in Defense Business System (DBS) technologies, architectures, management and implementation, and will choreograph the evolution of DON business systems and processes to reduce the cost and number of systems.</li> <li>You will develop and assess business practices across the DON to improve processes and products, assure optimal interface with the business architectures of other agencies, and increase alignment across the Navy, Marine Corps, and Secretariat.</li> <li>You will assist in the development and acquisition of new business capabilities, coordinate transformation and efficiency efforts throughout the DON, and act as the principal point of contact, lead action officer, and recorder for working groups.</li> <li>You will plan, organize, and conduct complex assessments of DON programs, processes, and functions, initiate and lead special projects and studies as directed, and coordinate the utilization of internal and external resources.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><b>Travel Required</b><br /><br />Not required<br /><br />Supervisory status <br /> No <br /><br />Promotion Potential <br /> 13 <br /><br /></li> <b>Requirements</b><br /><br /><b>Conditions of Employment</b><br /><br /><ul> <li>Must be a US Citizen.</li> <li>Must be determined suitable for federal employment.</li> <li>Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.</li> <li>New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
