The purpose of this role is to support delivery of successful projects and programs by either:
Working with the global corporate team of SME s, focused on Front End solutions and support of Worleys Engineering Projects around the World.
Providing technical and consulting services to mining Tear 1 and 2 clients and act as a QP ( NI43-101 and JORC compliant studies) when required.
Acting as Mining lead, Project Manager, Project Director, and Engineering manager on EPCM and DE and Project Delivery scope/ projects.
Directing and Mentoring global group of Open Pit engineers
Writing technical papers and attending professional conferences
Maintaining relationship with existing and establishing with new clients.
Leading, managing and directing technical and engineering work on PEA, PFS, and FS technical studies.
Leading, managing and directing technical and engineering execution of mining projects
Providing input into Business Development strategy an maintain/ expand professional network
Provide services to other opportunistic clients (non-core pursuits).
Services will be focused but not limited to:
- Mine Planning and Design
- Mining Method Selection
- Mine Optimization
- Cost Estimation ( CAPEX and OPEX)
- Equipment Selection
- Project and Study Management
- Due Diligence and Technical Audits
- Peer Review
- 20 years of operational and consulting experience with exposure to international markets
- Strong technical skills and professional network
- P.Eng, PE or CP AusIMM status and QP/ CP status as defined by NI43-101/ JORC reporting standrads
- Bachelor Degree in Mining or equivalent
- Postgraduate degrees highly regarded
- Stong business acumen
- Willingnes to travel
