Key responsibilities
 


  

The purpose of this role is to support delivery of successful projects and programs by either:

  • Working with the Worley global mining team, focused on Front End solutions and support of Worleys Engineering Projects around the World.

  • Providing technical and consulting services to mining Tear 1 and 2 clients and act as a QP ( NI43-101 and JORC compliant studies)  when required. 

  • Acting as Mining lead, Project Manager, Project Engineer on EPCM and DE and Project Delivery scope/ projects.

  • Leading and/ or delivering technical and engineering work on PEA, PFS, and FS technical studies.

  • Supporting and working on technical and engineering execution of mining projects 

  • Providing input into Business Development strategy and maintain/ expand professional network 

  • Site visitis and work on sites as required

Services will be focused but not limited to:

  • Mine Planning and Design

  • Mining Method Selection

  • Mine Optimization

  • Cost Estimation ( CAPEX and OPEX)

  • Equipment Selection 

  • Project and Study Management 

  • Due Diligence and Technical Audits

  • Peer Review 

  • 15 years of operational hard rock experience
  • Beachelor Mining Degree 
  • In depth knowledge of Deswik, Studio 5 D planner or other mining industry approved software 
  • P.Eng / PE designation and QP/ CP status as defined by NI43-101/ JORC reporting standrads
  • Willingens to travel 
  • Fluent written and spoken English required. Knowledge of Franch, Spanish, Portuguese or Russian highly regarded.
  • Underground production experience  
  • Authorisation to Work and live in Canada or the US.
