Here’s where you come in. You’ll use your knowledge of insurance claims and customer service to help create strong relationships with the providers in our networks. **Primary Responsibilities:**

+ Handling internal and external calls/emails and other communications including triage to appropriate individuals for resolution
+ Support network contracting including roster updates
+ Supporting in field Provider Relations Advocates with all follow up tasks with contracted providers
+ Escalating issues as appropriate for resolution
+ Resolving provider claim issues
+ Handle provider education communications – mailings/outreach calls
+ Supporting providers in the successful application for participation as a contracted provider
+ Organizing and scheduling provider education forums including participation in provider events
+ Significant amount of phone and computer work
**Required Qualifications:**

+ High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
+ 1+ years of managed care or medical insurance experience
+ 1+ years of experience in a claims, customer service or provider support role
+ Ability to create, modify and send documents in Microsoft Excel and Word
+ Must live in Anchorage, AK or be able to commute to the Anchorage office as needed
