The Senior Developer / Analyst is responsible for the migration of trading partners from various internal EDI / E-Commerce systems and third-party EDI service providers to the IBM / Sterling Integrator (SI) platform as well as providing second level SI support. This entails an analysis of the current partnership and a replication of those processes and/or transactions on the SI platform without impacting the trading partner. A qualified candidate will be able to establish a communication link between the partner and SI, define and develop data maps, business processes and data routes within SI, test and implement the solution with the trading partner. In this role a candidate will be expected to engage directly with business users, process owners and management alongside IT team stakeholders while ensuring that solutions delivered adhere to methodology and architectural standards.
At least 5 years of experience supporting EDI technology including 3 to 5 years of working experience as an IBM / Sterling Integrator administrator.
A thorough knowledge of the logistics / transportation industry and the transportation related ANSI X12 transaction sets 204, 990, 214, 210 and 997.
Advanced skill level with the SI mapping utility.
Advanced skill level with the SI Graphical Process Modeler and BPML.
A thorough knowledge of EDI communication protocols and encryption including, but not limited to, AS2, FTP, SFTP and HTTPS.
A strong understanding of XML, JMS and Web Services.
Experience with resource locking principles and techniques.
Experience with SI mailboxes, virtual roots and routing rules.
Experience with Linux and Linux scripting.

Perimeter server configuration
