<b>Job Number: R0055599</b><br /><br />Government Relations Director<br />Key Role:<br /><br />Lead the development and execution of engagement strategies with the executive branch, focusing on DoD, intelligence for a diverse number of programs and issues. Develop and maintain key relationships with senior leaders in the executive branch and staff to position the company for future business opportunities and serve as a liaison with Army, Navy, and USAF customers. Meet regularly with business leadership to collaborate on priorities and provide advice and recommendations on how the Government Relations function can assist with their set priorities and objectives and develop an environment that encourages open communication and collaboration among business leadership and the Director of Legislative Affairs in the Government Relations function. Comprehend the intelligence community's priorities and concerns and communicate those concerns to company leaders effectively. Comprehend company priorities and concerns and communicate those concerns to the appropriate leaders in the executive branch effectively. Offer strategic input to the Multi Year Planning (MYP) relative to business development strategy, programs, and budget. <br /><br />Basic Qualifications:<br /><br />-12+ years of experience with public policy and external experience with leading people, defining strategy, establishing client relationships, and delivering innovative solutions<br /><br />-Experience with establishing contacts at the Pentagon<br /><br />-Experience in working collaboratively with the government and members of both parties<br /><br />-Experience with managing complex policy strategies over time and towards a discreet and positive outcome required<br /><br />-Experience with managing diverse teams and budgets<br /><br />-Experience with establishing effective organizational brand visibility with key decision makers<br /><br />-Experience in driving government affairs communications with key elected officials, regulators, agencies, trade associations, and other influential individuals and groups regarding Booz Allen's interests<br /><br />-Ability to comprehend technology and recognize and assess the impact of related government policies<br /><br />-Top Secret clearance<br /><br />-BA or BS degree<br /><br />Additional Qualifications:<br /><br />-Ability to display sound judgment, decision making, and political insight with the highest ethical standards<br /><br />-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills<br /><br />-Possession of excellent presentation and leadership skills<br /><br />Clearance:<br />Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.<br /><br />We're an EOE that empowers our people-no matter their race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, veteran status, or other protected characteristic-to fearlessly drive change.<br /><br />ESG1
