You’ll work as part of a team within a small business/office setting. Work on weekends and/or evenings may occasionally be necessary to meet agency goals for customer satisfaction.
Objective – Provide an excellent customer experience for potential and existing customers. Identify opportunities to cross sell additional lines/products and coordinate with sales specialist(s) for follow up on such opportunities. Assist Agency Owner with attaining agency service goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalized, professional customer service experiences through building trust and developing strong customer relationships.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding coverages, billing, claims or products by following established agency processes and procedures.
Drives customer satisfaction by following the “American Star” best practices: Personal Insurance Review (PIR), rate revision notification, claims follow-up, and positive customer contact.
Resolve discounts pending removal
Process/Resolve billing issues.
Contact customers in a state of past due/cancellation
Be in contact with customers during claims process
Qualifications:
The ability to work independently to plan, set priorities, and organize work.
Must be organized, a great note taker, and have excellent follow up skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Analytical skills, experience with Microsoft applications such as: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer.
All applicants must possess a Valid Drivers License.
Experience using a wide range of devices such as: smartphones, tablets, and laptops. Experience using social media platforms such as: Facebook, Twitter.
This position comes with a base hourly pay, and the potential for additional commissions. The Customer Service Representative is a staff member of the agency and not an employee of American Family Insurance. Skills: SELF MOTIVATED/HARD WORKING, THOROUGH, and POSSESS A WILLINGNESS TO LEARN. *LIFE LICENSE must be obtained in the first 30 days of employment. Candidate must obtain Property & Casualty Licensing prior to start of employment.
