The role:
An exciting career opportunity has opened for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Essense team in a new position based in our Lenexa, Kansas office. The role entails working with various departments across our global business to assess current processes, reporting requirements, and delivering recommendations to improve the business processes and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement and requirements analysis in a customer relationship management (CRM) environment, and functional expertise in Salesforce with in-depth knowledge of its capabilities and limitations. The role will work closely with Salesforce system administrators and business systems management to consistently deliver value to the business and drive Salesforce adoption across all business units, ensuring the business is maximizing efficiency and capitalizing on the full features of the Salesforce cloud platform.

As part of the global Business Systems team you will work collaboratively on assigned projects using a consultative approach to investigate, evaluate and bring about improvements as well as deliver sound solutions to business requirements. You will drive improvement and innovation across the company using lean methodologies linked to leading CRM technology.
What we expect:
Workshop facilitation to discover and discuss improvement opportunities from high performing work groups.
Consult, design and drive the implementation of software solutions to address business needs.
Effectively coordinating with internal stakeholders and communicating at all levels of the company.
Analyze user requirements and change requests and recommend best fit solutions while maintaining the integrity of the existing applications and system architecture.
Proactively identify and communicate risks to the business systems and projects.
Engage with departments to identify quick wins and ‘big picture’ opportunities.
Take ownership and provide leadership as the functional lead on assigned projects.
Promote adoption of the Company’s business solutions, specifically relating to CRM, by identifying opportunities and providing guidance and training.
Provide functional Salesforce system support and key user training to a growing user base in the Salesforce platform.
Deliver basic system administration within the Salesforce cloud application to support key requirements on an as needed basis.
Deliver detailed analysis, process mapping and documentation of proposed solutions.
Communicate effectively within all levels of the business.
Adaptable to accommodate changing business requirements and positively communicate around changes.
Assess, lead and consult on multiple projects concurrently.

Minimum 8 years progressively responsible relevant work experience.
Minimum 2 years Salesforce specific experience on the Lightning platform, either in a consulting or analyst role.
Aptitude to problem-solve and learn in a fast paced, high growth environment.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to analyze multiple sources in an investigative manner and converting business requirements into effective system solutions.
Understanding of functional aspects and basic technical structure of the Salesforce CRM platform.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated analyst with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proven experience as an analyst and/or consultant working with business units to deliver solutions to business needs, including requirements gathering, documenting user stories, process mapping and solution design.
Thorough, detail-oriented approach and a willingness to consult and collaborate with others to overcome obstacles and achieve optimal results.
Ability to effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time and assigned tasks independently as well as in a team environment.
Ability to forge relationships, collaborate and work well in a team environment.
Salesforce Administrator and/or Cloud certification preferred.
Proven experience in hands-on configuration of the Salesforce platform in areas such as object fields, page layouts, workflow, user management and permissions preferred.
