WHAT WE WANT

FriendFinder Networks is looking for a talented WebRTC Video Consultant who will architect, build, maintain, and implement live video streaming applications used by millions of people every day all over the world. Your contributions will ensure the best possible user experience for everyone who visits our web sites 24 hours a day, every day of the year, all over the world.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Lead in best practice solutions to help architect, build and maintain our live stream application

Evaluate and refine systems quality of service on a continuing basis

Work with multiple teams to help identify, reproduce and fix issues

Ensure high quality and reliable low latency video

Develop Front End and Back End solutions for video delivery

Partner with DevOps to trouble shoot network breakdowns and devise solutions

Document all your work and communicate issues when they arise

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience

Experience developing social networking sites

Minimum 5 year s experience with video delivery

WebRTC expertise in both client and servers including codecs and protocols

Experience in video encoding, video conference, or online broadcasting

You must be comfortable with adult content

You must be at least 21 years old

WHAT IS PEFERABLE TO HAVE

Expert proficiency Java, Javascript, Angular, HTML5, Git and familiarity with React

Excellent knowledge of networking protocols

Knowledge of Wowza Streaming Engine platform

WHAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE

Excellent problem-solving skills

Ability to learn new tasks outside immediate range of skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues

Have a high degree of honesty and integrity

Deadline oriented and able to multi-task in a fast pace environment

Team-player, positive attitude, and flexible
