Honeywell Building Solutions is looking for a Field Service Specialist for Central/Northern New Mexico. As a Service Specialist for our service team, you will be tasked with the service, maintenance, and installation of systems that may include building automation, fire alarm, HVAC controls, security and access controls in a commercial, educational, construction and or retrofit environment.

The ideal candidate must possess 3 or more years of commercial experience with HVAC controls, DDC and fire alarm systems with an emphasis on computer and networking skills. Experience with systems that involve advanced solutions such as EBI, Tridium, Echelon, Lonmark and other open technologies for building automation/integration solutions would be a plus. You must be able to pass drug and background checks. Additionally, a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record are also required.
Be the face of Honeywell to the customer and interact directly with end-users
Use knowledge of end-to-end delivery of Honeywell solutions to enhance efficiencies
Become a technical expert for complex Honeywell solutions/product offerings

Provide Customer Support
High School diploma
Minimum of 3 years of related experience include troubleshooting, delivery of small jobs and mentoring junior technicians. Troubleshooting and performing service calls on integrated and multi-vendor systems.
Valid Drivers License
Technical College Diploma
Training/Certification on Honeywell software programming tools.
Training/Certification on Networking protocols and products.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to use tools and test equipment.
NICET Fire Alarm Certification a plus
