We are seeking a NEW member for our customer service & operations team!
General description of position:
Our growing customer base includes large and small brick and mortar stores all over the US and into Canada and some other countries, large e-commerce channels like Amazon, Wayfair and our own direct to consumer selling websites as well as our retail store. Customer service is the lifeblood of our business – taking care of all our customers’ questions and issues in a courteous, accurate and fast way is critical. The job includes direct contact with retailers, end-users and 3rd party service providers such as e-commerce channels and logistics companies through phone, live chat, or in-person at our retail store.
Process incoming inquiries like phone, chat and faxes.
Resolve customer questions, inquiries and complaints.
Special projects such as e-commerce data sheets, price-list creation or customer communication through mass e-mails just to name a few examples.
Cover the retail store as an additional resource to the store manager (some weekend work may be required)
Order processing and fulfillment – attention to detail and meticulous follow-through is critical
Operations – communicating with the warehouse, getting shipping quotes and other ad hoc projects to help the operations manager.
This is a fast-paced environment, and the ability to multi-task is critical.
Microsoft Office Suite on PC, (in particular Excel skills) are required
Excellent verbal and written etiquette for communication with customers related to product, logistics, and customer account status is a must
Previous experience with online or retail sales, shipping and order fulfillment is preferred
Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify Plus is a plus.
Experience with online chat system or in direct phone sales is a plus
