(Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are NOT included in the area of consideration.)<br /><br /><strong>This position is located at the IMCOM Training office at Fort Eustis, Virginia.</strong><br /><br />To better expedite the hiring process, we recommend including full contact information (name, address, phone number, email, etc.) for professional and personal references on your resume.<br /> Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br />The duties of this position include but are not limited to: <ul> <li>Serve as the IMCOM Training DFMWR construction and facilities program subject matter expert and principal advisor to the IMCOM Training Director, DFMWR Functional Integrator, Installation Support Teams, and Garrison IMCOM staffs</li> <li>Coordinates, integrates and synchronizes all construction and facilities functions, to include Major Construction (Army); Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization; NAF Major and Minor Construction; budget programming; and execution of funds</li> <li>Manages and coordinates the implementation of plans, scope, design, construction, and direction of projects through assistance visits, conference calls, and Video Teleconferences (VTCs)</li> <li>Ensures compliance and effects command decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, policy and the development and execution of projects plans</li> <li>Develops and maintains a complete inventory of all current and future projects</li> </ul> <br /><br /><b>Travel Required</b><br /><br />50% or less – You may be expected to travel for this position.<br /><br />Supervisory status <br /> No <br /><br />Promotion Potential <br /> 5 <br /><br /></li> <b>Requirements</b><br /><br /><b>Conditions of Employment</b><br /><br /><ul> <li>Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required</li> <li>Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position</li> <li>A one year probationary period may be required</li> <li>Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check</li> <li>Completed and signed DA Form 3433 is required prior to entrance on duty</li> <li>Position requires incumbent to sign a mobility agreement</li> </ul> <br /><br /><b>Qualifications</b><br /><br />The qualifications of this position are: <ul> <li>A major course of study (24 semester hours) in architecture, engineering, building construction or other fields directly related to the duties to be performed</li> </ul> OR <ul> <li>Demonstrated knowledge of the planning requirements, coordination, methods, and materials needed for the construction, extension, alteration, or repair of buildings. Experience working in the government or commercial construction field and in reviewing contracts and Acquisition Plans for compliance with command guidance. Experience performing a variety of administrative and analytical tasks in support of major and minor construction projects</li> </ul> <br /> * In addition to meeting one of the two criteria listed above, qualified candidates must also possess: <ul> <li>Demonstrated communication and analytical writing skills and computer skills (through development and delivery of briefings, reports and other formal presentations; experience coordinating projects involving multiple organizations; demonstrated knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources</li> </ul> *** Qualifying experience must be equivalent in scope and complexity to the next lower grade level <br /><br /><b>Education</b><br /><br />If you are meeting the educational qualifications, transcripts <strong>ARE REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION</strong>.
