<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />As an IT Specialist (DATAMGT), you will responsible for the overall vision and use of Enterprise Data and Information Management.<br /><br /><strong>Location of position:</strong> General Services Administration, Office of GSA IT, 1800 F Street, NW, Washington, DC<br /><br />The Office of GSA IT is responsible for delivering innovative, collaborative, and cost-effective IT solutions and services to customers.<br /><br />Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br />Plans, designs, and builds complex Robotics Process Automation (RPA), including building and managing application bots for critical GSA applications; builds RPA processes for building management, acquisition and financial services; and configures and implements Robotics Orchestration engine. Serves as a subject matter expert in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and designs and implements architectures using TOGAF; formulates and implements policies that streamline operations; and architects solutions that are scalable, in-line with TOGAF methodologies and improve efficiency. Manages the Authority to Operate (ATO) tasks including tracking of system implementation statues for all relevant security controls; ensuring security documentation is updated as development activities are deployed; opening and monitoring scan tickets and working with the Security team to initiate scans and pen tests, as applicable; working with development teams to ensure all scan findings are remediated by mandated deadlines; working collaboratively with development and Security teams to ensure appropriate evidence (live and static) are provided for control assessments; managing, tracking, and responding to the Plan of Actions and Milestones on a quarterly basis; and experience in overall coordination of supporting the ATO and post ATO processes from the project perspective. Serves as an IT expert in Data and Information Management on national teams studying a diverse range of state-of-the-art IT development, issues, policies and/or previously unsolvable program matters; playing a pivotal role in the development and interpretation of policies, procedures, and strategies impacting the planning and delivery of IT services offered to client agencies, including serving as troubleshooter, resolving Metadata and/or Master Data Management problems where the complexity and criticality is such that other employees have not been able to develop cost effective, viable solutions. Acts as senior customer advocate/technical account manager to upper-level management contacts at client agencies to acquire a full understanding of mission critical IT needs, budget constraints, risk factors, business and political pressures, and performance requirement; including providing expert advise and guidance on Data and Information Management products and services, IT industry standards, acquisition regulations, strategies, policies, and processes and the technical and economic feasibility of an agency's tasks, as related to their overall IT strategy.
