<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br /><strong>There is a total of one (1) position to be filled in one of the following duty locations: Washington, DC; Atlanta, GA; or Andover, MA.</strong><br /><br />The position is located in the Office of Audit. The purpose of this position is to provide effective analysis, monitoring, and execution of work related to program operations (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Facilities, Human Resources) and organizational efficiency and proficiency. <br /><br />Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br />As a Secretary (Office Manager), you will:<br /><br />- Participate and assist the Director/AIGA in planning, formulating, and executing various programs (e.g., space projects, budget projections, inventory management, etc).<br /><br />- Control and monitor input to existing management information systems (e.g., TEC, SharePoint) for the component or parts of the component.<br /><br />- Monitor, recommend, and implement changes to existing programs, systems and/or procedures to improve efficiency of overall operations, levels of service to customers, and other TIGTA components.<br /><br />- Provide analytical data to the Director/AIGA to assist in the management of the directorate/business unit.<br /><br />- Serve as the point of contact for the post-of-duty, coordinates with building management, and serves as office hoteling concierge.<br /><br /><b>Travel Required</b><br /><br />Not required<br /><br />Supervisory status <br /> No <br /><br />Promotion Potential <br /> 09 <br /><br /></li> <b>Requirements</b><br /><br /><b>Conditions of Employment</b><br /><br /><ul> <li>Please refer to "Conditions of Employment."</li> <li>Click "Print Preview" to review the entire announcement before applying.</li> <li>Must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Nationals.</li> </ul> <br /><br />The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service . To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.<br /><br /><b>Qualifications</b><br /><br />You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.<br /><br /><strong>Specialized experience:</strong> For the GS-09, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:<br /><br />- serving as the official point of contact in the manager's office and<br /><br />- reviewing and amending outgoing documents and<br /><br />- arranging meetings in coordination with the manager's schedule.<br /><br />In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following<strong> time-in-grade</strong> requirement, if applicable:<br />For the GS-09, you must have been at the GS-08 level for 52 weeks.<br /><br /><b>Education</b><br /><br /><b>Additional information</b><br /><br />- We may select from this announcement or any other source to fill one or more vacancies.<br />- This is a non-bargaining unit position.<br />- We offer opportunities for flexible work schedules.<br /><br /><strong>CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT</strong>: <br />- A one year probationary period may be required.<br />- Must successfully complete a background investigation.<br />- Public Trust – Background Investigation will be required. <br />- You will be required to regularly report to the Duty Station listed above.
