<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />These positions are located in Albuquerque,NM and Washington DC.<br /><br />For additional information about the duties of this position, please contact Marilyn Grubbs at recruitmentandhiringfs.fed.us<br /> Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><ul> <li>Performs a wide variety of administrative work, office management, and assisting with implementing approved policies and coordinating required management actions within the AD area.</li> <li>Screens mail including correspondence, directives and publications and determines necessary action, while routing important or technical material to appropriate directorate for action ensuring timeliness, completeness, proper format, and grammar.</li> <li>Applies in-depth knowledge of office automation, software applications, the internet, electronic mail, electronic calendars, and laptop computers to support the Assistant Director.</li> <li>Arrange schedules, appointments, meetings, conferences, and travel including location, agenda, and attendance list. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing a wide variety of analytical administrative support work as well as office management and related activities; Applying an in-depth knowledge of office automation, software applications, the internet, electronic mail, electronic calendars, and laptop computers to support key issues.<br /> <strong>OR</strong><br /> One full year of graduate level education;<br /> <strong>OR </strong><br /> An appropriate combination of graduate level education and specialized experience;<br /> <strong>OR </strong><br /> Superior Academic Achievement (go to this site determine if you are eligible: http: www.opm.gov/qualifications/policy/ApplicationOfStds-04.asp ). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.<br /><br /><strong>TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT:</strong> If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled.
