<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br /><strong>This position is located in Information Systems and Technology Services (ISTS), Budget, Acquisition, and Contracting Group (BACG)/Budget Office. BACG oversees ISTS' budgeting and finance, contract management, and procurement.</strong><br /><br />Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><ul> <li>Conducts program reviews, analyzes resource needs, maintains performance data, and prepares reports to reflect the status of funding for assigned group.</li> <li>Provides detailed and program specific guidance and assistance in budget formulation, preparation, presentation, justification and execution to assigned organizational components.</li> <li>Advises program managers and other officials on requirements for the preparation, documentation, and submission of budget requests.</li> <li>Evaluates budgetary submissions received from assigned components in order to determine the accuracy and adequacy of budget amounts submitted.</li> <li>Advises management on urgent operational issues including proposed solutions for various budget issues.</li> <li>Serve on budget project team to develop guidance and implement new or revised budget program requirements.
