<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below for<strong> IMPORTANT </strong>additional information.<br /><br />The primary purpose of this position is to provide business and commercial economic intelligence expertise to the commercial economic assessment of USAF programs and systems.<br /><br />Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br /><ul> <li>Participates in effective research, development, simulation, testing, fielding, employment, sustainment, and improvement of AF capabilities…</li> <li>… by identifying intelligence requirements, resolving/mitigating deficiencies, integrating intelligence, and providing needed intelligence/engineering data and infrastructure.</li> <li>Serves as business intelligence program analyst/project manager/advisor to Director of Ofc of Commercial Economic Analysis (OCEA) on matters relating to intelligence support for assessments, analyses, and planning operations and activities.</li> <li>Develop and implement intelligence analytic and planning projects and programs for OCEA that address the mission requirements tasked to the organization by SAFIAA, USAF, and DoD Components.</li> <li>Prepares and presents high level briefings of conclusions, many being highly subjective and not readily susceptible to verification until actual operational situations are encountered.</li> <li>Participates as an expert representative in working groups and prepares correspondence, briefings, specifications, and other documentation relevant to assigned projects.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><b>Travel Required</b><br /><br />Occasional travel – You may be expected to travel for this position.<br /><br />Supervisory status <br /> No <br /><br />Promotion Potential <br /> 14 <br /><br /></li> <b>Requirements</b><br /><br /><b>Conditions of Employment</b><br /><br /><ul> <li>U.S. Citizenship Required</li> <li>All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.</li> <li>Position designated critical-sensitive- must be able to obtain/retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Quality experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position and is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. Examples of creditable experience include: Extensive knowledge of the Department of Defense Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBE) and policy, Procedures, and schedules for developing Program Objectives Memoranda (POM), Budget Estimate Submissions (BES) as well as methods for developing budget forecasts, cost projections, financial exhibits, unfunded requirements justifications, narratives, offsets and disconnects, and issue papers; and Knowledge of Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) program goals and objectives, to the sequence and timing of key operational events and milestones, and methods of evaluating the effectiveness of planning actions as related to actual events; and Knowledge of the relationship of the various entities involved in overall planning and execution of complex procedures and techniques for testing and evaluating unique one-of-a-kind applications and the methods in which the PPBE process supports them; and Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of plans and programs for managing, planning, budgeting and executing intelligence and operations utilizing diverse intelligence support structures and inter-agency cooperation on advanced concepts, principles and practices such as Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance systems; Special Communications; Collection Management and Operations; All-Source Analysis; Multi-INT integration; Cyberspace Operations; Information Systems; Foreign Language Exploitation; Data Engineering; PPBE, acquisition, special operations, or similar operations.<br /><br />Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.<br /><br /><b>OR</b><br /> To view qualifying educational requirements and/or combination of education and specialized experience click on the following link:<br /><br />https: www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/ <br /><br /><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs</strong>): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:<br /><br />1.
