<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />This position is located in the Office of the Clinical Director (OCD), Division of Intramural Research (DIR), National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) . The NICHD Division of Intramural Research (DIR) is recruiting for a Staff Clinician in Pediatrics or Pediatrics/Internal Medicine with training in Endocrinology, Genetics or Neurology.<br /> Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br />This is an important position that will allow us to serve the mission of the DIR, NICHD, and NIH and that of the NIH, Clinical Research Center (CRC) by working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary research team to facilitate clinical research and oversee fellowship training. Areas of research include rare genetic diseases and pediatric endocrinology.<br /><br />The Office of the Clinical Director (OCD), Division of Intramural Research (DIR) are specifically interested in individuals who have been trained in Pediatrics and have specialty training in Endocrinology, Genetics or Neurology. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association (external link) ; Association of American Medical Colleges (external link) ; Liaison Committee on Medical Education (external link) ; Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association (external link) , or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (external link) at the time the degree was obtained.<br /><br />Degree from Foreign Medical School : A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must provide education and medical knowledge equivalent to accredited schools in the United States.
