The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing and maintaining the daily HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with other members of the HR team supporting the overall mission of the organization. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding, benefits administration, employee wellness,HRIS, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance and audits. The HR Generalist works closely with interdisciplinary and diverse teams to manage volunteer and student programs.<br /><br />Work Schedule:<br /><br />Oversees on-boarding and orientation for new team members; Participates in development of new ideas and practices in new hire onboarding. Modifies program as needed.<br /><br />Performs periodic audits to ensure accreditation readiness<br /><br />Provides daily support through collaboration to leadership, employees, volunteers and students seeking assistance<br /><br />Provide recommendations and support to leadership team in managing performance, including coaching, counseling and partnership on performance plan development.<br /><br />Oversees the volunteer and student program; facilitates and develops new ideas and practices to build on the program to support strategic initiatives<br /><br />Helps in the design and deployment of training<br /><br />Assists in planning and development of activities which enhance the employee experience<br /><br />Utilizes data to make recommendations for improvement in key functional HR areas supported<br /><br /><b>Tobacco Statement</b><br /><br />Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue.
