<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Office of the Chief of Staff. As an Executive Secretariat Specialist, you will be providing a wide range of program management and administrative support services and serve as a liaison representing the Office of the Archivist and the Office of the Chief of Staff to internal and external stakeholders.<br /> Learn more about this agency <br /><br /><b>Responsibilities</b><br /><br />As an Executive Secretariat Specialist, you will: <ul> <li>Manage White House referred correspondence from the public on matters pertaining to NARA's mission and responsibilities.</li> <li>Receive, control, analyze, and assign to appropriate NARA program offices, and track and report on the status of all citizen mail referred to NARA from the White House Office of Agency Liaison, ensuring agency responsiveness and compliance with Administration timelines for response.</li> <li>Organize workload, determine timelines, perform analysis, and provide background information on a wide variety of correspondence and documents to the Archivist, Deputy Archivist, Chief of Staff and Executive Secretariat Director to advise on the status of issues concerning work products, projects and activities.</li> <li>Provide liaison and direct support to international allied archival, educational, historical, professional, scientific, and technical organizations and government officials as requested by agency leadership and dignitaries in line with priorities set by agency leadership and to advance partnership for the agency.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><b>Travel Required</b><br /><br />Not required<br /><br />Supervisory status <br /> No <br /><br />Promotion Potential <br /> 12 <br /><br /></li> <b>Requirements</b><br /><br /><b>Conditions of Employment</b><br /><br /><ul> </ul> <br /><br />The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service .
