If you want to make a difference in someone's life every day, consider a position with a team of professionals who are doing just that, making a difference. <br /><br />Secretary III:<br />The Administrative Assistant provides professional secretarial support to the Emergency Department Director, including:<br />• Timekeeper administrator for ED, using software such as KRONOS, word processing and spreadsheets.<br />• Place weekly special orders, prepare inventory reports and highlighted low stock of medical supplies for the Emergency Department. <br />• Navigate WORKDAY Adventist Healthcare<br />• Order special Medical Supplies and process.<br />• Order, stock, and distribute Office Supplies in the ED. Coordinate maintenance of office equipment and Medical Supplies using Workday system.<br />• Arrange, coordinate meetings and events. Schedule conferences and meetings, and in-services without prior approval. <br />• Help to prepare schedules for staffing (RN's, Tech's and USC) and keep updates, using KRONOS Scheduler planner and Excel. <br />• Time Attendance editing. <br />• Track employee licenses and certification (BLS, ACLS, PALS).<br />• Prepare Expense Reports. Reimbursement process.<br />• Prepare photocopies, facsimiles, scanning, and filing. Modify documents, drafts, emails, and forms.<br />• Prepare, open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence. <br />• Compose and send letters (regular and certified mails) for Positives Blood Cultures Patients and tracking information.<br />• Experience in dealing with persons of other cultures. Working with the Immigrant Community.<br />• Interaction with patients to be an interpreter for Spanish speaking. <br />• Preparing Thank You Cards and mail them to the Patients.<br />• Resolving informal complaints.<br /><br />Work Schedule:<br /><br />Office hours Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.<br /><br />Qualified candidates will possess:<br />• High School diploma or GED required with an Associate's Degree in secretarial studies or equivalent preferred.<br />• Three to five years of secretarial/medical secretarial experience in a hospital setting.<br />• Proficient in PC skills such as Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as KRONOS.<br />• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br />• Excellent typing skills, public relation skills and evidence of good judgment required.<br /><br />At Adventist HealthCare our job is to care for you.
