Assist customers with opening a wide variety of products and services. Advise as to how best utilize company products and services in order to meet personal financial goals and provide the highest quality customer service.
Availability of candidate needs to be: Monday-Friday 6:45am-6:00pm; Rotating Saturdays 8:45am-Noon
Major Duties and Responsibilities
50%-Performs teller duties, such as, processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, cashiers checks, process cash advances, sale of reloadable gift cards, money orders and loan payments.
10%-Performs maintence of accounts, including ordering checks, replacement passcards, submits address and telephone number changes to the CIF department, placing and removing stop payments, account ownership changes, endorsements.
10%-Balances cash drawer daily to assure accuracy in transactions and notifies supervisor regarding any offages. Appropriately applies policies.
10%-Assists customers with opening all types of accounts including IRAs, CDs. Also assists customers with wire transfers and fraud/forgery situations. Cross sells appropriate products and services.
10%-Has some supervisory duties and resolves customer issues in absence of the Assistant Branch Manager.
10%-Participates in the rotation of vault duties which includes loading and balancing the TCD’s, transferring cash and cash items to other CSA’s, and balancing vault daily.
-Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures.
-Use every customer contact as an opportunity to advise customer about additional services or programs that might benefit them.
Perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Must be capable of climbing/descending stairs in emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including telephone, copier, facsimile, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work environment with moderate noise.

Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on confidential matters.
