Overview

Coordinates and maintains primary and secondary insurance claim processing for high dollar claims. Follows-up with insurance companies, field patient inquiries, and manage accounts receivables to ensure that all claims are processed and paid in a timely manner. Responsible for assisting Patient Account Rep's with training and maintaining workflow.<br /><br />Qualifications<br /><br /><strong>Education Level</strong><br />High School Grad or Equivalent<br /><br /><strong>Experience</strong><br />Required: Billing – 2 years, Medical Terminology – 2 years<br /><br />Preferred: None, unless noted in the "Other" section below<br /><br /><strong>License</strong><br />None, unless noted in the "Other" section below<br /><br /><strong>Skills</strong><br />Required: Communication, Complex Problem Solving, Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, Service Orientation<br /><br />Preferred: None, unless noted in the "Other" section below<br /><br /><strong>Other</strong><br />Cert Professional Coder preferred. Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding preferred. Account Reps for Pharmacy departments are required to be certified Pharmacy Technicians at time of hire and to maintain licensure
