Scandinavian Designs is a home furnishings destination rooted in our love for modern design and quality craftsmanship. We are looking for a part-time Sales Assistant in our Sioux Falls, SD location. Our employees are passionate about design and quality products and are committed to providing exceptional service.
Sales Assistants provide sales support to the store and staff while gaining product knowledge and selling skills. The Sales Assistant provides customer service and follow-up by phone, may handle sales transactions documentation, process sales through the terminal and set up delivery dates for customers. This person will provide customer service and information at the counter and help the store with other administrative and operational duties. All of our positions are required to uphold our principles of value, quality and design.
Successful Assistants have a wholehearted customer service approach with a professional and welcoming presentation.
We are looking for candidates with a High School diploma or equivalent GED, 1-3 years’ work experience in a related field.
Excellent customer Service and organizational skills.
Professional appearance and demeanor. Basic computer and terminal skills with high degree of accuracy.
Some lifting up to 25 lbs. unassisted.
Able to successfully complete our pre-employment background screening.
