<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />This position is located within the Office of the Deputy Director (DD), Conservation Division (DCL), Preventive Conservation (DCL-PV) of the National Gallery of Art. The decision on granting reasonable accommodation will be made on a case-by-case basis. <br /><br /><b>Qualifications</b><br /><br />Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the next lower grade or comparable pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private sector.<br /><br />For this position, specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-5 grade level in the Federal service and/or 1 full academic year of related graduate level education or superior academic achievement. Specialized experience is treating wooden objects for the purpose of conserving them.
