Demonstrate leadership and communication abilities with fellow workers and customers as well as oversee jobs. Design, repair and install new and existing machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to the specifications required by our customers. Provide documentation of work performed, time on the job, delays, changes to job scope, materials used and any other pertinent information.
Supervise a crew and complete both small & large projects from start to finish without direct supervision.
Resolve problems related to an assigned job to the satisfaction of the customer.
Be responsible for the overall quality of services provided by Field Services on assigned projects.
Be responsible for creating a safe work environment and ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures.
Be responsible for completing and submitting project related reports.
Be responsible for project planning, to include being able to provide material take-offs, scheduling, assisting with estimating, and cost tracking.
Execute scope of work by being able to understand design drawings, technical specifications, and contractual requirements.
Proficient with basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Take ownership for meeting customer requirements and schedule.
Be able to represent Field Services in a professional manner when interacting with customers, sub-contractors, vendors, and other employees.
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written communications.

Essential Physical Functions:
Work in shop environment and in a field construction environment. Will require some bending, stretching and reaching in various positions. Must be able to work odd hours/schedule. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate machinery, i.e. forklift, truck, etc. Requires normal range of hearing and vision to operate machinery, and to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Will require steel toe shoes/boots. Requires working under stressful conditions. May require working overtime and long hours. May require travel out of town for weeks at a time on short notice

Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all of the employer’s safety policies and rules and must be willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.

Work is usually outside and subject to weather and environment conditions. (dust, wind, mud, snow, heat etc.) Requires ability to work in heat and cold. Noisy shop and plant environment. May be required to work overtime. Some work in Chemical, Petroleum and Hazardous Waste environments.
This position is considered a working supervisor position, and expectation is that individual work with tools as dictated by project requirements and daily situation.
