<b>Duties</b><br /><br /><b>Summary</b><br /><br />This position is located within the Education Service at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. Specialized experience includes: managing and administering a comprehensive medical library program; searching highly specialized biomedical, nursing, and allied health databases and the internet; providing accurate and reliable information to clinical and management staff; providing context for research efforts; managing online knowledge-based resources; developing library policies and procedures; and utilizing knowledge of library functions (e.g., collection development, electronic database management, reference, serials management, interlibrary loan, cataloging, etc.) to best assist library patrons.
